Stephanie got baptized last Sunday on 19 September! Whoohoo!!!
We gathered at Laguna 88 for a pot luck dinner and celebrated her baptism and birthday. It was fun. It’s been awhile since we had gatherings like that, with kids, youth and adults all together.

Praise the Lord! We’re happy today, oh yes, we’re happy today because Hubert has decided to follow Jesus, he has decided to follow Jesus! Jesus paid it all!
In other words, Hubert was baptized and joined our Christian family! =)

Our dear Clement Tang got baptized on 1st March 2009! Yay!
A few of us had to chip in and help to fill the baptistry with water because of some miscommunication.. So while everyone waited, we took lots of pictures!
Once there was enough water, everyone gathered round! =) How exciting!

Twins :) Uncle Wah went home and found an outfit identical to Uncle BQ’s. Very gorgeous.
On Sunday, Joel and Jeremy got their Baptism Certs and we had our CNY steamboat! Yum!
Mandarin-peeling game. Each team had 2 adults 1 Singaporean youth, 1 Vietnamese youth and 1 kid

After the games, we all had a Lou Hei. Then we sat down to enjoy the delicious steamboat everyone had prepared. It was delicious. Like last year, there was a blackout, so we switched off the lights and air con and opened all the windows. And when you are sitting in front of a steaming steamboat, it sure can get hot!

In the evening, a bunch of families went to support The Lavender Club. We lost to the Church of the Holy Spirit, but had fun nonetheless.
