Today Uncle Boon Quang started off our series on Becoming a Contagious Christian. We watched two videos, and talked about Who Jesus Is, and What is Evangelism? We discussed negative and positive factors that contribute to evangelism.

We read Luke 19:10 and reminded ourselves of our main mission, which is to do as Jesus did, which is to seek and save the lost.

Some points brought up was evangelising styles. One guy in the video found that pushing people to Christ did not work, whereas drawing people to Christ worked wonders. Also, people need to see good news before they will hear good news.

We must not rule out ANYONE nor write ANYBODY off. 

If anything, we must at least remember two things:

1. Build Relationships, and

2. Be Yourself!

Hey everyone!

If you’ve noticed, we’ve been trying to make our Saturday fellowships more interesting, structured and planned. Finally, right? Haha! Well, we’ve got loads of things planned for the rest of the year, some of which include photography lessons by Uncle Larry, a baking session at Auntie Lyyn’s and maybe even a softball game with Uncle Jing Kok. So continue checking this site regularly for updates on what we’ll be having that week! =)

Well, on top of all those interesting lessons, we’re also starting a new cell group series called Becoming a Contagious Christian. Our very own Uncle Boon Quang will be spearheading this series.

The cell group lessons will be spread out over a few weeks, so that we can take what we’ve learnt in his lessons and apply it in the real world for a week or two before going on to the next lesson.

As a result, here are the dates scheduled for the cell group lessons. They are all Saturdays!

We really look forward to seeing many of you there at this cell group, no matter how young (or old) you are! Do bring your bibles too! Invite your friends!

Let’s all start getting a bit more serious about God.. As well as recommit our time to him.
