We went to Ikea for dinner and had yummy food and lots of fun. After we finished our food we walked around Ikea enjoying the beds, sofas and rooms while chatting and laughing about everything under the sun.

Our church camp this year was really great and everyone had an awesome time. Thank you to Uncle Wah and Uncle Fong for planning everything, Uncle Benny for teaching the lessons, Reuben and Uncle Ming Kong for taking photos and everyone else who joined in the fun and made the camp a wonderful success!

Q&A with Doug Foster + Combined Youth Cell October 6, 2010

We had the privilege of having a youth Q&A session with Doug Foster last Saturday where we could ask him any question we wanted and he would try to answer it. I believe most of us thought it would be kind of boring (we were talking about church history after all) but it turned out to be extremely enlightening and interesting. We learnt a lot about what was behind several beliefs and practices in churches of Christ today. Doug has extensive knowledge on church history and I think all of us went home with something to think about that day.
After the Q&A session we enjoyed the food that Moulmein had prepared for us and chatted a bit with one another, caught up on our lives and so on. Then we played the games that Citivision prepared for us and had loads of crazy fun.
We ended the session with worship led by Geylang, singing songs and praising God.
We all had a great time of fellowship, learning and worshipping God together.
Here’s to hearts of unity, not division! =)

Stephanie got baptized last Sunday on 19 September! Whoohoo!!!
We gathered at Laguna 88 for a pot luck dinner and celebrated her baptism and birthday. It was fun. It’s been awhile since we had gatherings like that, with kids, youth and adults all together.
Kite-flying August 23, 2010

On Saturday, we went to West Coast Park, armed with several kites, a ball, two swave boards, speakers and loads of enthusiasm. We had a really fun time flying or trying to fly our kites, as well as admiring other kite-flyers’ kites. Some went to play on the climbing pyramid and flying foxes, and others kicked a ball around. Kenneth used up a lot of energy running around the field trying to get the box kite in the air, and unfortunately was not successful.
Afterwards we went to McDonald’s for some dinner and fellowship where we chatted and had cupcakes Fidelia baked for dessert. Yum.
Next time, we’ll go to Woodlands to fly our kites! =)
Cook and Bake August 12, 2010

On National Day, we went to Nerissa’s house to cook and bake! We had macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, corn chowder, brownies, lamb chop, beef, sambal sotong and sambal fish. SO DELICIOUS. Ate until we could POP.
Afterwards we all gathered around the television to watch the National Day Parade together.

Cycling at ECP August 2, 2010

We went to East Coast Park to cycle that day and had a really good time! =) Thank You, God, for the wonderful weather, refreshing ice lollies, yummy food and conversations and laughs we shared!
