…make light work.
It’s always amazing to see all of us get together to help clear up and pack up our church before our move in 2 weeks. Young and old, boys and girls, all chipped in a helping hand. The men forewent their fellowship to help clear up instead. A few women did the same, foregoing the women’s fellowship to chip in.
:) So here are a bunch of photos I took showing everyone working together and having fun!

Jeremy, Constance, Sherilyn, Kenneth, Renee and Hubert packing up yet more nonsense unearthed in the Youth Room!

Nerissa and Joel, taking down our many curtains in the worship hall

Kenneth, Uncle Jk and Auntie Mew folding the dusty curtains

Nicholas and Joel rolling up a ball of string

Sherilyn packing up more board games and Uncle Wah unscrewing the screws there were for our curtains

Auntie Fan Fong and Auntie Debra sifting through the toys for the cradle roll class

Fidelia, Amber, Christal and Kaitlyn typing up the curtains into bundles

Faith and Fidelia with the bundles of curtains

Charis unscrewing curtain stuff from the Youth Room and Uncle Clive and Uncle Patrick Senior having a laugh

Uncle Wah and Uncle Dom

Auntie Mew and Amber

Uncle Patrick, Junior and Senior

Fidelia and Nerissa perched precariously on our sofas while Amber watches

Our men helping out

Darrius and Rachel, carrying what their tiny hands can
This Sunday will be our last week worshipping at Aliwal! It is so exciting! Although we have had many, MANY beautiful memories in Aliwal, I cannot wait to move on to bigger and better things (and places)! I believe that our church has grown, not only in number, but in spiritual maturity as well as grown closer to one another ever since we moved to Aliwal. I cannot wait for more of that when we are at Goldenmile Complex!
Yippeeeeee!
Remember that we will be spending Saturday painting at Goldenmile, so please make your way there to help us out! Even if it’s just to buy us some snacks or drinks to tide us through the tiresome task!
Love,
Faith ♥

It has been ABSOLUTELY AGES since we last updated. We are so sorry, but everyone has just been swamped with so much schoolwork that there has been no time at all to update! We have Saturday parties to blog about, and our big move!
For those of you who don’t already know, Citivision Church of Christ will be moving to bigger premises at Goldenmile Complex. Yes, the scheduled move is for 1st October! Hence, the youth started packing today! Everyone chipped in, and MAN we have accumulated a lot of rubbish in just 3 years!

Trying to get our pictures off the wall and sorting out rubbish and books!

All our board games!

Nice one, Leon!

Testing out ALL our markers and finally getting rid of all those that don’t work

Pack, pack, pack!

We found a fat lizard, and here the boys are throwing things at it to get it to come down

Caught it!

Now what?

The crazy girls screaming and making all the boys deaf, at the other (very far) end of the room
Of course, we are kids, and our attention span is VERY SHORT. So we have yet to finish packing, but I’d say we made pretty good progress today. :) Great job guys!
This week, Charis and Faith will finalise all the designs and colours for the wall murals and on Saturday the youth will be down at Goldenmile painting our new classrooms! We need all the help we can get, so if you can come down, please do! We will update you all on the exact time again!
Meanwhile, enjoy the week! Pray for all those who feel weary (of the body and /or spirit). Encourage them! :)
Love,
Faith ♥

Casting Crowns – Who Am I
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You’ve done
Not because of what I’ve done
But because of who You’re
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I’m calling
Lord, You catch me when I’m falling
And You’ve told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
I am Yours
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
‘Cause I am Yours
I am Yours
Nice song. Listen to it. We shall learn it one day! :)

“Have we been living our lives differently from non-Christians? God put in so much effort, sending his Son down to die for us and this is what we do with our lives? We lead our lives the same way the world lives it, thinking that being homosexual is perfectly okay when the Bible clearly says it isn’t. Swearing, has now become a common norm even amongst Christians. Is this the life you want to lead? How are you gonna make a difference and set yourself apart from the rest?”
This was what i heard in school during a event known as Worship Under The Stars. And this song was the song that made me feel ever so guilty.
Hillsongs – From The Inside Out
A thousand times I've failed Still Your mercy remains And should I stumble again I'm caught in Your grace Everlasting Your light will shine when all else fades Never ending Your glory goes beyond all fame Your will above all else My purpose remains The art of losing myself In bringing You praise Everlasting Your light will shine when all else fades Never ending Your glory goes beyond all fame In my heart and my soul Lord I give You control Consume me from the inside out Lord let justice and praise Become my embrace To love you from the inside out Everlasting Your light will shine when all else fades Never ending Your glory goes beyond all fame And the cry of my heart Is to bring You praise From the inside out Lord my soul cries out
Let God reach deep down into your life, let him be the one that controls it. Have an awesome week people! And oh on a heavier note, ‘O’ results are out this Thursday. =0
Love, Sherilyn!

Hi everyone. Daniel Han showed me this video and I think it’s pretty good. It’s kinda long but it’s nice anyway. So watch!
